Bag

Character-specific inventory with risk-based mechanics in dangerous zones.

The Bag is your character's inventory. Items here can drop on death in PvP zones.

Core Features

Character-Specific

Each character has their own Bag with independent contents:

Dual Access

The Bag can be accessed from both the Nexus and In-Game:

Access PointFeatures
NexusFull management, sorting, filtering, Vault transfers
In-GameQuick access, drag-to-equip, mid-combat swaps

Note

Opening your Bag in-game does not pause the game. Be careful opening inventory in combat - you're still vulnerable!

Risk Mechanics

Items at Risk

Items in your Bag are at risk when you die in PvP zones:

Zone TypeDeath Penalty
🟢 Safe ZoneNo death possible
🟡 PvE Zone10% durability loss (no item drops)
🟠 Hard PvE Zone10% durability loss (no item drops)
🔴 PvP ZoneRandom items drop from Bag

How Item Drops Work

When you die in a PvP zone:

  1. Equipped items are SAFE - they stay with you
  2. Random Bag items drop - selection is random
  3. Drop quantity - typically 3-5 items depending on Bag contents
  4. Dropped items are lootable - the player who killed you (or anyone nearby) can pick them up

Warning

The risk is real. High-value items in your Bag can be lost to other players. Only carry what you're willing to lose when entering PvP zones.

Note

The in-game Bag has limited sorting compared to the Nexus. For full inventory management, return to a Safe Zone and use the Nexus interface.

Transfer to/from Vault

Depositing to Vault (Bag → Vault)

  1. Return to a Safe Zone
  2. Exit to Nexus
  3. Open Inventory Management
  4. Select items from Bag tab
  5. Click Transfer to Vault
  6. Items are now safe

Withdrawing from Vault (Vault → Bag)

  1. Be in the Nexus (not in a zone)
  2. Open Inventory Management
  3. Select items from Vault tab
  4. Choose character to receive
  5. Click Transfer to Bag
  6. Items are now at risk when entering zones

Warning

Cannot transfer in Danger Zones! If you're deep in a Dominion territory with valuable loot, you must survive the journey back to a Safe Zone before you can deposit to Vault.

Strategic Considerations

Before Entering PvP Zones

Recommended Bag Contents:

  • Equipped best gear (safe)
  • Health potions (replaceable)
  • Mana potions (replaceable)
  • Buff scrolls (worth the risk)
  • Minimal gold (can drop)

Leave in Vault:

  • Backup equipment
  • Rare materials
  • Large gold reserves
  • Items for other characters

The Loot Decision

When you find valuable loot in a dangerous zone, you face a choice:

Found rare drop! Options:
│
├── Continue deeper (more rewards, more risk)
│ └── Risk: Might die and lose the item
│
├── Return to Safe Zone now (secure the loot)
│ └── Safe: Deposit to Vault, but trip ends
│
└── Strategic hybrid
└── Clear path to exit, THEN push deeper

Tip

Pro Strategy: When you find something valuable, consider making a "loot run" back to safety. The extra trip is worth securing rare items.

Death Recovery

PvE Death (Durability Loss)

In PvE zones, death only costs durability:

  • 10% durability loss on all equipped items
  • No items drop from Bag
  • Respawn at nearest Safe Zone

PvP Death (Item Drop)

In PvP zones, death is more punishing:

  • Random items drop from Bag (3-5 items typically)
  • Dropped items appear on ground
  • Killer can loot your drops (and anyone else nearby)
  • Respawn at nearest Safe Zone
  • Equipped items are safe

Note

Corpse Run: You can attempt to return to where you died to recover dropped items - but they may already be taken by your killer or other players.
