Forging

Create Wings, Capes, and other equipment at the Forgemaster Anvil.

The Forgemaster Anvil is Arcania's central crafting station where players forge powerful equipment from gathered materials.

Forgemaster Anvil

The Forgemaster Anvil allows you to combine materials into equipment. Unlike drops, forged items let you work toward specific goals - but success is never guaranteed.

How Forging Works

  1. Select a recipe from the Anvil menu
  2. Add required materials (primary material + Crystal of Creation)
  3. Optional: Add Crystal of Spirit or Dominion to boost success rate
  4. Attempt forging - success creates the item, failure consumes materials

Warning

Forging is risky. Higher tier items have lower success rates. Add crystals to improve your odds.

Note

Prestige Quality: All successfully forged items are always Prestige quality.

Failure Mechanics

When forging fails, materials are handled differently:

MaterialOn Failure
Crystal of CreationAlways consumed
Crystal of SpiritAlways consumed
Crystal of DominionAlways consumed
Feathers / Thread of Silkworm20-70% returned (random)

Note

Primary materials (Feathers, Thread of Silkworm) have a random chance to be returned on failure. You might recover most of them, or lose everything - it's random each attempt.

Forging Tips

  • Start low: Practice on Tier 1-2 items to learn the system
  • Stock materials: Farm extra Feathers/Silk before attempting high tiers
  • Always boost T5: The 5% base rate is brutal - use both crystal types
