Complete guide to races, classes, stats, and character progression.

Players create a unique character by selecting a race and class, then develop their character through stat allocation and equipment choices.


Races

Arcania features four playable races, each with unique lore, visual identity, and starting stat bonuses.

Primary Stats (5)

Primary stats are the five core attributes you directly allocate points to. Each affects multiple derived stats.

Note

Primary stats come only from level-up point allocation and racial bonuses. Equipment provides derived stats (like Attack Speed or Max HP) but not primary stats like STR or VIT.

Derived Stats (13)

Derived stats are calculated from primary stats, equipment bonuses, buffs, and other sources. Equipment provides derived stats through slot identity bonuses and socketed gems.

How Stats Affect Abilities

Abilities scale from derived stats, not primary stats directly:

This means equipment directly affects ability damage. A sword with +50 Physical Attack adds +50 damage (×skill multiplier) to Warrior abilities!

Level 50 Warrior

Stats: STR 150, INT 20, VIT 80, AGI 100, SPR 20

Calculated Stats

Physical Attack = 150 × 2 = 300 (+ weapon) Physical Defense = 80 × 2 = 160 (+ armor) Max HP = 150 + (80 × 12) + (50 × 15) = 1,860 Critical Chance = 5% + (100 × 0.12%) = 17% Critical Damage = 125% + (100 × 0.25%) = 150% Attack Speed = 1.0 × (1 + 100 × 0.005) = 1.5 APS Armor Penetration = 150 × 0.05% = 7.5%

Level 50 Mage

Stats: STR 20, INT 150, VIT 60, AGI 80, SPR 100

Calculated Stats

Magic Attack = 150 × 2.5 = 375 (+ weapon) Magic Resistance = 100 × 2 = 200 (+ armor) Max HP = 100 + (60 × 12) + (50 × 15) = 1,570 Max Mana = 200 + (150 × 8) + (100 × 4) + (50 × 8) = 2,200 Critical Chance = 5% + (80 × 0.12%) = 14.6% Magic Penetration = 150 × 0.05% = 7.5%

Deletion Rules

  • Characters below level 10: Immediate deletion
  • Characters level 10+: 7-day recovery period
  • Characters with guild leadership: Must transfer first

Recovery

  • Deleted characters can be recovered within 7 days
  • All items and progress preserved
  • Gold has 10% tax on recovery
