Bestiary
The creatures of darkness that serve the Dominion - spawned from the corruption of the Anguish Stone.
"Every nightmare you face was once something else. A guardian spirit. A healer. A soldier. The
Anguish Stone doesn't create monsters-it transforms victims into weapons."
- War Council Briefing
The creatures that serve Alassa's Dominion are not natural beings. They are manifestations of the Dark Titan's lingering will, given form by the
Anguish Stone. Understanding their origins is essential to defeating them.
Pre-Dominion Creatures
Before reaching the Dominions, warriors must first survive their homeland and the war-torn Breach. These areas contain their own unique threats:
Homeland Paths (Levels 1-25)
Each race faces creatures unique to their homeland:
| Path | Race | Theme | Creatures |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meridia | Corrupted wildlife, bandits | Rabid Wolf, Corrupted Boar, Shadow Bandit | |
| Lythora | Nightmare fey | Nightmare Sprite, Twisted Dryad, Root Wraith | |
| Redmire | Volcanic constructs | Slag Golem, Forge Wraith, Magma Spawn | |
| Lumeria | Shadow-tainted light | Fading Wisp, Eclipsed Seraph, Void Touched |
Convergence & Breach (Levels 20-35)
Where all paths meet and the true war begins:
| Zone | Level | Key Creatures |
|---|---|---|
| Convergence | 20-28 | Despair Shade, Corrupted Refugee |
| The Breach | 26-35 | Corrupted Soldier, Battlefield Wraith |
Note
The Fallen Guardian (Convergence) and The Gatekeeper (Breach) serve as skill checks before entering Dominion content. All pre-Dominion creatures are documented in Hostile Creatures and Elite Creatures.
The Nature of Corruption
When the Void Titan and Dark Titan destroyed each other in The Anguish, their clash released energy that still permeates reality. The
Anguish Stone-a crystallized fragment of that primordial rage-allows Alassa to channel this power, creating and corrupting creatures of immense strength.
Warning
Every creature in the Dominion exists because of the
Anguish Stone. Destroying Alassa would sever their connection to this power-but until then, they are bound to her will.
The Five Dominions
Each of the Five Dominions is ruled by a General-beings shaped by the
Anguish Stone into commanders of nightmare armies. The creatures under each General reflect their master's nature:
| Dominion | General | Theme |
|---|---|---|
| Vharun | Fire, volcanic corruption, twisted guardians | |
| Saelistra | Grief, psychic attacks, memory manifestations | |
| Kharagul | Hunger, regeneration, Titan bone constructs | |
| Morgathis | Despair, eclipse energy, faith erosion | |
| Cassian | Emptiness, fallen champions, dimensional instability |
Monster Classifications
All creatures in the Dominion follow standardized threat classifications:
| Type | HP | Damage | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1x | Low | Standard drops | |
| 3x | 2x | Better drops | |
| 5x | 3x | Rare guaranteed | |
| 15x | 5x | Unique area drops | |
| 50x+ | Raid-level | Legendary drops |
Note
The five Dominion Generals (Vharun, Saelistra, Kharagul, Morgathis, Cassian) are Dominion Boss encounters requiring full raid parties. Area Bosses are giant versions of creatures that guard key locations within each dominion.
Combat Mechanics
Dominion creatures deal either Physical or Magic damage:
| Damage Type | Mitigated By | Creature Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Physical | Melee brutes, beasts, soldiers | |
| Magic | Casters, spirits, manifestations |
Note
Build your defenses accordingly: stack
Physical Defense (VIT) against brutes and melee creatures, or
Magic Resistance (SPR) against casters and spirits.
Combat Strategies
General Principles
- Know Your Enemy - Check if creatures deal Physical or Magic damage
- Build Defenses - Stack

| Stonegrave | High Physical Defense, sustained damage | |
| Eclipse | Balanced defenses, group support | |
| Dreadmar | High Magic damage vs low Magic Res | |
| Mire | Healing sustain, Magic Resistance | |
| Hall | Mobility, Physical damage at range |
The Path Forward
To reach Alassa at the Throne of Ruin, all five Dominions must be conquered in sequence. Each General must fall before the next territory opens.
Valoryn → Dreadmar → Mire → Stonegrave → Eclipse → Hall → Throne of Ruin
